Located in the heart of the Sydney CBD near St Mary’s Cathedral, Cook + Phillip Park Pool provides world-class swimming, fitness, sporting and recreational facilities, as well as an outdoor training area within a picturesque parkland setting. 

The venue features indoor and outdoor training areas, a multi-purpose sports court for basketball, futsal, volleyball and pickleball competitions, and a nearby paid public car park.

Opening Times

Cook + Phillip Park Pool is open Monday to Sunday from 6 am to 8 pm.

The fitness centre is open Monday to Friday from 6 am to 8 pm, and on Saturday and Sunday from 6 am to 6 pm.

Closed on Good Friday and Christmas Day.

Getting to Cook + Phillip Park Pool

Cook + Phillip Park Pool is located on College Street near the corner of William Street, opposite Hyde Park, and is fully accessible with street-level entry from William Street and College Street through ramps from St Mary’s Cathedral.

Parking: There are two public car parks adjacent to the centre: Wilson Parking Station at St Mary's Cathedral and The Domain Carpark.
Buses:   The 501 bus route drops you directly outside the centre’s entrance.
Trains:   The closest train stations are Museum Station and St James Station.
