Andrew (Boy) Charlton is a seasonal pool that is open over the warmer months, from 1 September to 30 April each year.

Perched on the edge of Woolloomooloo Bay, the Andrew (Boy) Charlton 50-metre heated saltwater outdoor pool has 8 lanes as well as a dedicated covered program pool for kids and aqua programs.

The pool reopened in September 2025 after a 16-month closure for critical maintenance and infrastructure upgrades that included new tiling, a refurbished pool deck and grandstand seating and a new lift. The result combines upgraded facilities with sparkling harbour views that make this destination as practical as it is breathtaking. 

This pool has long been a favourite with Sydney families, with spaces for everyone to enjoy. 

Learn, Play and Relax

Andrew (Boy) Charlton Pool offers learn-to-swim programs for both children and adults as well as aquarobics classes and group exercise classes including yoga and mat Pilates.

There are also hot showers, changing rooms, accessible features including a pool hoist, aqua wheelchair, lift, and mobility parking space.

You can also kick back on the sun lounges to rest and recharge.
