Our Purpose

ellaslist exists to make family life easier and more connected.

ellaslist solves this by curating trusted, relevant recommendations in one place. Our Story

ellaslist was founded in 2010 by media entrepreneur Yvette Dubourdieu after the birth of her daughter Ella.

At the time, Yvette struggled to find a reliable source of curated information about family-friendly activities in Sydney. Recognising that many parents faced the same challenge, she created ellaslist to help families easily discover the best things to do with kids in their local communities.

What began as a simple local guide has grown into a nationally recognised family discovery platform. Today, ellaslist reaches hundreds of thousands of parents each month and works with a wide range of organisations — including cultural institutions, attractions, councils, education providers and family-focused brands.
