Some Ticketed, Some Non-Ticketed Events
If you're planning on heading to the city to catch the fireworks this year, there will be plenty of vantage points to ring in 2024, but this year's New Year's celebrations will comprise ticketed and free, ticketed and priced and non-ticketed free events.
New Year's Eve tickets are both free and priced but will need to be purchased or booked in advance on the City of Sydney website. To secure your spot at your favourite vantage point simply click on the links below to book your tickets - hurry, they won't last long!

If you're keen to celebrate in style, there will be a number of New Year's Eve events happening throughout the city and beyond.
Bid farewell to 2023 in Parramatta Park with a FREE concert featuring the ARIA award-winning band Sneaky Sound System, an incredible lineup of family-friendly activities, and an awe-inspiring fireworks display.
Coronation Hill will be buzzing with family entertainment, featuring a hands-on science precinct, garden games, and a delightful bubble and music play area. Bring your picnic blanket, find a cosy spot in the beautiful Parramatta Park, and get ready for entertainment starting at 5 pm, leading up to a spectacular firework display at 9 pm. There will be on-site food trucks, and you can sip on refreshing beverages from the bar. It's the perfect way to welcome the New Year!

Step into 2024 with a burst of energy at Mode Kitchen & Bar at Four Seasons Hotel Sydney. There will be a live band, soloist, jazz quartet, and a DJ all lined up to make sure you welcome the New Year in true style.
Renowned Chef Francesco Mannelli has crafted an elaborate New Year's Eve dining experience, featuring a delightful semi-buffet-style dinner. It's a night of celebration you won't want to miss!

Atelier by Sofitel at Darling Harbour will host a delicious five-course feast at Sofitel Sydney Darling Harbour, complete with some of the city’s greatest views of Darling Harbour, indulgent cuisines, and the finest selection of celebratory Champagne.

If you're keen to ring in the New Year literally in the harbour, then book into a Sydney New Year's Eve cruise. There are a number of New Year's Eve cruises offering celebrations to ring in 2024 including Prestige Harbour Cruises, Glass Island New Year's Eve Cruise (18+), MV Sydney 2000 and more.
