With restrictions starting to ease, there are loads of cool things to do these holidays, in real life and online, and all COVID - and kid - friendly!

Featherdale Sydney Wildlife Park
Featherdale Sydney Wildlife Park offers hands-on animals experiences in a lush natural setting. It is one of our most loved family attractions and has the largest collection of native Australian animals anywhere! Get up close to adorable koalas and have your photo was taken, feed resident wallabies and possums, and get intimate pelican and penguin encounters. There are echidnas, kangaroos and crocodiles on show, plus the most venomous snake in the world and a huge display of exotic birdlife. With an Australian Wildlife Park Annual Pass, you'll not only unlimited entry to Featherdale Sydney Wildlife Park for a year, but also to the South Coast's Mogo Wildlife Park.
This will put a grin on your face! Luna Park is back in action from Friday 3 July and will be open for family fun every day of the school holidays. With a new COVID-safe experience in place, you can book tickets for timed daily sessions that last for 4 hours. Tickets are $50 per guest and include all your favourite rides, a $10 food and beverage voucher and a sideshow game.
Junior Engineers has face-to-face and online programs in coding and robotics these holidays. Expert Coding Coaches will host live, interactive workshops, guiding students through fun coding challenges and digital projects, and age-appropriate in-house programs at select locations.

Sydney's newest zoo is bursting with school holiday fun for kids. NIDA is back with select short courses at NIDA Kensington, in addition to their new online courses. The National Institute of Dramatic Art helps students build confidence and develop creativity with a range of performance-based classes and workshops.
Kids love STEM - the part of the curriculum that brings together Sciences, Technology, Engineering and Maths in hands-on learning experiences - and STEM Punks are leading the way in Australia’s STEM education. They are hosting a Virtual Winter Holiday Camp delivered by teachers and leading innovators, where students can learn the latest skills through coding, making robots, programming and game design.
Mogo Wildlife Park
Where did you go-go in the holidays? Mogo! Situated on the beautiful south coast, Mogo Wildlife Park allows you to get up close and personal with an amazing collection of exotic animals. Get the kids out of the house for an underwater adventure at SEA LIFE Sydney Aquarium. Meet the world-famous Pig the Dugong, grinning Grey Nurse Sharks, Manly’s Little Penguin colony and breath-taking local marine creatures. Visit the spectacular multi-million dollar Great Barrier Reef exhibit, walk through oceanarium tunnels, hop aboard the Penguin Expedition boat ride and see fun animal feeds and talks.
WILD LIFE Sydney Zoo
Get up close to the cutest Australian koalas with this memorable encounter at Darling Harbour's WILD LIFE Sydney Zoo. Step into the koala enclosure and get your photo taken with the cuddle creatures on the beautiful open-air rooftop area. Calmsley Hill City Farm
A short drive from Sydney, Calmsley Hill is an interactive farm with nursery animals kids can feed and classic farmyard animals to meet. There is a full schedule of shows including sheep-shearing, stock whipping and working dogs demonstrations, plus tractor rides for a little off-road adventure and loads of space for kids to run wild.
Hunter Valley Gardens
For the perfect school holidays day trip, the Hunter Valley Gardens feels worlds away! The beautiful village is a wonderland of extensive walking paths amid lush, vibrant flora featuring waterfalls, statues and murals. There are ten award-winning themed gardens including the fabulous Storybook Garden full of famous characters, and the Sunken Garden featuring a magnificent waterfall and flower beds bursting with colour.
Sydney Living Museums Virtual Family Fair
This school holidays Sydney Living Museums are taking one of their most loved events online. The Virtual Family Fair will be hosted by the amazing Justine Clarke and feature on-demand videos and activities including crafts, cooking demonstrations, virtual farm tours and more, inspired by the historic Rouse Hill Estate. The FREE virtual program is on between 9th and 19th July only, so you can keep the kids engaged and creative - and warm and dry - during the holidays.
Australian Reptile Park
The Australian Reptile Park has reopened with exciting experiences for a fun family day out. Animal keepers will have different stations around the park for daily animal interactions with resident wildlife, plus there are daily walks with the komodo dragon, Galapagos tortoise and a dingo! You can also explore indoor enclosures including the Lost World of Reptiles, Nocturnal House, Frog Hollow, Spider World and Platypus House.
Cockatoo Island is the largest island in Sydney Harbour, rich with unique history and experiences. This winter, it will transform into a massive art space for the 22nd Biennale of Sydney, a festival that will showcase a range of creative contemporary artworks. Explore the UNESCO World Heritage-listed sanctuary, plus the waterfront campground, family-friendly cafés and picnic spots with harbour views.
The Centre Dural
The Centre in Dural is a vibrant community hub that gets kids moving, staying healthy and having fun through sports and fitness. They are hosting short 9-week netball and futsal competitions for kids of all ages from 6th July - perfect team games for winter, keeping kids warm and out of the weather! You can build your own team or be placed in a team, and you can use your $100 Active Kids voucher.
