Australian Theatre For Young People School Holiday Drama Workshops

With the temperature rising, turn up the fun with one of ATYP's action-packed drama workshops this holiday season.

ATYP have school holiday drama workshops for kids from years K–12 and all experience levels, with workshops ranging from 2 to 5 days. There is something for every young thespian! Whether it's their first time in a drama room or they're a seasoned performer, your child will leave their workshop with new skills and techniques they will utilise for years to come. 

ATYP's Holiday Workshops are held at their Dawes Point HQ and are led by industry experts who will ensure your young performer builds their performance skills, gains confidence, and most importantly, has a ton of fun in a safe and inspiring environment!

Summer School Holiday Workshops at ATYP

• If you like a buffet line, this one’s for you - the “All You Can thEATre” workshop will give Year 3-4s a taste of all genres of theatre, from Commedia Dell’arte to Physical Theatre!
• If you have a little thespian interested in script work, Year 5-8s can take on scenes from one of ATYP’s own plays in their “Play Series: Charlie Pilgrim (or a Beginner’s Guide to Time Travel)”
• Calling all Musical Theatre lovers! You'll love "A Musical Theatre Experience". Year 9-12s will work on songs and scenes from iconic musicals, and explore how to bring them to life

Whether it’s 2 days, 3 days or a full week you're after, ATYP has got you covered. No prior experience is needed and students of all abilities are welcome.

When:     Monday 13 - Friday 31 January 2025 | Classes run from 9:30 am – 4:30 pm
Cost:       Costs vary depending on the workshop starting from $250
