Sydney has been abuzz since its newest shopping, dining, and entertainment venue, Easter Creek Quarter opened back in June 2020.

With COVID-19 rife at the time of Eastern Creek Quarter's planned opening, it was never going to be smooth sailing to launch a new social venue. But launch they did and now, 5 years later, Eastern Creek Quarter is still one of Western Sydney's most popular venues for families looking to shop, dine, and enjoy the buzzing atmosphere.

If you haven’t yet been down to Eastern Creek Quarter for a play, eat and shop, you're in for a real treat. Eastern Creek Quarter is located on the Rooty Hill side of Western Sydney Parklands and is geared towards Sydney families with food outlets and health services along with dining and entertainment with its new ECQ Social domain.

Eastern Creek Quarter's Environmental Footprint

Branded as a 'super-neighbourhood centre', Eastern Creek Quarter draws Sydney families in with its lineup of amazing restaurants, first-rate shopping, convenient food stores, health services, and enjoyable family entertainment.

While the look of the new lifestyle destination is certainly pleasing on the eyes, Eastern Creek Quarter's environmental impact is definitely the MVP of its overall design. ECQ has been awarded a 6 Star Green Star Design rating by the Green Building Council of Australia. The centre features 1 MW of solar panels, a 200 kL onsite rainwater tank, water management features to capture and re-use water for irrigation and amenities purposes, extensive landscaping and trees in the external car park area, bicycle parking facilities, internal landscaping, and greenery and more.

And now for the bit the kids will be most interested in – the Eastern Creek Quarter Playground. The Eastern Creek Quarter Playground is part of ECQ Social and is the place to eat, play, and socialise every day of the week.  While the kids play, parents can enjoy world-class food from ECQ Social's 'revolving dining' precinct with eateries from all corners of the globe including Vietnamese, Thai, Italian, American, Japanese, and even a dedicated chocolate room.

Opening Soon: A New Outlet Shopping Destination

If you thought Eastern Creek Quarter couldn't get any better, there's a brand-new outlet shopping destinaton opening in 2026!

ECQ Outlet is the first retail outlet in Western Sydney and only the fourth in all of NSW. Located within the already ECQ precinct, the new outlet will house up to 100 top brands in a sprawling retail concept. The plans include a mix of cafes, restaurants, and entertainment and leisure activities to keep you coming back for more.
