DUPLO Farm Adventure Builds Empire at LEGOLAND® Discovery Centre
For those of you too young for LEGO who are still keen to build empires, you need to make tracks for the brand new DUPLO Farm Adventure at LEGOLAND Discovery Centre!
The interactive new play area was unveiled today to a group of keen 2-5 year olds in Melbourne.
Located within LEGOLAND Discovery Centre in Chadstone – Australia’s only indoor LEGO® playground – DUPLO Farm Adventure is the ultimate indoor toddler experience where little builders’ imaginations can run wild. Behind the giant barn doors, children can explore a multi-level farmhouse where they can build with DUPLO and climb, crawl, slide and swing.
No farm would be complete without animals! DUPLO Farm Adventure will surprise and delight the smallest of farmers with life-size DUPLO animals. Climb aboard the DUPLO cow, calf, goat, pig, chicken and hare.
Learning Through Play
“Our aim is to inspire young kids to unlock their full potential through creative experiences with DUPLO. We’re thrilled to be unveiling this new zone in 2019, which marks 50 years since LEGO launched the DUPLO brand,” said Dave Holder, Master Builder at LEGOLAND Discovery Centre.
“We have created this area specifically for children aged 2-5 to play and have fun while developing their fine motor skills through experimentation with shapes, structures and colours,” continued Dave.
To take kids’ DUPLO experience to the next level, LEGOLAND Discovery Centre runs DUPLO Kids Club on weekdays. The interactive workshops take place inside the DUPLO Farm Adventure zone and are hosted by experienced team members who teach young children about numbers, letters, colours and animals through DUPLO games, building challenges and storytelling.
What Else To Discover?
LEGOLAND Discovery Centre is also home to two rides, a 4D cinema and 11 LEGO build and play zones to keep kids of all ages entertained. The brand new zone for children aged 2-5 is designed to inspire interactive social play, support development and encourage kids to have fun!

More Melbourne Fun For Kids
Jun 18 2019
Visited LEGO Land this morning with our two year old Granddaughter. We loved the LEGO display of Melbourne, it was Fascinating see the interactive display of Melbournes iconic well known buildings and tourist attractions. The wizard ride was a big hit too, so great we went on it multiple times. The play room maze was also a lot of fun. Surprisingly the draw card of the Duplo Farm was the reason we went but it was a flop. It was just another area with Duplo blocks to play with and a large cow and sheep in a small play area. This area did not catch our imagination. LEGO land is worth a visit for active adults and young children however it is very costly and I think having to pay $30 for adults and $20 for all children over 3yrs old is beyond a lot of family budgets. We spent two hours there and it costs us $56.00
