An Australian Park Has Been Named Most Innovative In The World
- All Ages
The 2020 Architizer A+ Awards are in and an Australian park has been named one of the most innovative in the world!
Sydney Park, which borders St Peters, Newtown, Alexandria and Erskineville, and is 40 hectares of glorious green spaces, rolling hills, wetlands, and ponds has been recognised as one of the most innovative parks in the 2020 Architizer A+ Awards. Thanks to its contributions to the community and the environment through Sydney Park's intricate water scheme that channels around 85 million litres of stormwater for treatment and re-use every year, the park has taken out the Jury Award in the Architecture + Water category - go Sydney!
Award-Winning Sydney Park
Sydney Park is no stranger to awards. The super cool Sydney Park Bike Track also took out the gold medal in the landscape design category at the DRIVENxDESIGN 2020 Sydney Design Awards earlier this year.
