Bayside Council has transformed this space into a vibrant hub for both active and leisurely pursuits, all while preserving the natural beauty of the wetland areas along Cooks River and Muddy Creek.

Barton Park: South Sydney's Favourite Recreational Precinct

With three full-size grass soccer fields, four tennis courts, multipurpose courts, and walking and cycle paths, there's something for everyone to enjoy in this sprawling public space. Whether you're into organised sports, family outings, birdwatching, or simply taking a stroll, this precinct has it all.

The Playground 

The playspace at Barton Park Recreational Precinct is set to be a hit with kids of all ages and stages. Swings, slides, plenty of climbing structures and trampolines await—as well as plenty of open space for self-guided play. We can't wait!
