Sydney Children’s Choir is one of Australia’s leading music training programs for young voices, welcoming children of all genders and voice types. It is about far more than singing in tune. Choristers learn how to work as a team, listen closely and perform with confidence, all in a supportive and joyful environment.

Children have the opportunity to perform at impressive venues and be guided by experienced music educators who know how to bring out the best in young singers. Along the way, they build friendships, develop music theory knowledge and discover just how powerful their own voice can be.

Through regular rehearsals and performances, children strengthen memory, attention and listening skills. Singing together also supports emotional development and self-confidence, giving kids a sense of belonging and achievement that carries into school and everyday life.

Try the Choir Free in February

For new choristers, Sydney Children’s Choir is offering a free three-week trial period in February. Children can join rehearsals at no cost and see if choir life is a good fit before enrolling. The trial runs until 27 February 2026.
