School Holidays at House Canteen

House Canteen is a great place to visit during the school holidays, especially if you're heading to the Sydney Opera House or Circular Quay with your kids.

Located along the waterfront beneath the Opera House sails, the restaurant offers stunning views of Sydney Harbour Bridge while serving casual, kid-friendly meals for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

School Holidays at House Canteen

The House Canteen's bakery and barista are open from 7.30 am and offer freshly baked pastries, bacon and egg rolls, Bad Boy Bakehouse donuts, and coffee for dine-in or grab-and-go.

For lunch and dinner, you can enjoy pan-Asian favourites including dumplings, sashimi, and poke bowls, plus new delicious bites from the Autumn menu like Japanese-inspired hotdogs, teriyaki chicken and Thai red curry. The restaurant also had a kid's menu boasting a delicious katsu, and kid's bento boxes with free Little Nippers activity pack. 

The restaurant has plenty of tables in the shade and provides incredible views of Sydney Harbour, the passing ferries, and the city skyline. House Canteen is open from 7.30 am until late.

School Holiday Entertainment

During the April school holidays, House Canteen comes alive with special activity days featuring dazzling kids' entertainers  Dare Magician, who will provide FREE entertainment to all guests. 

Bring your little ones for a fun-filled afternoon by the harbour. There is ample ramp access for prams too.
