After sell-out shows across Australia in 2023 playing to over 50,000 young people, Edward and Edwina are back, so get ready to laugh out loud with this heartfelt, clever, and funny tale!
Edward the Emu at the Sydney Opera House
Edward the emu is having a bit of an identity crisis. As the solo emu at the zoo, he's feeling pretty down. What if life could be more thrilling as a seal, a lion, or even a snake? In a bold move to shake things up, Edward escapes his enclosure and stumbles upon Edwina, sparking an adventurous escape across the zoo.
Catch the feathered frenzy in this uproarious stage adaptation by Eva Di Cesare, the creative genius behind hits like Diary of a Wombat and Josephine Wants to Dance. Presented by Monkey Baa Theatre, this production brings a burst of hilarity and heart with world-class puppetry, an engaging original score, and brilliantly inventive storytelling.
Don’t miss out on this witty exploration of finding one's place in the world—perfect for anyone who’s ever wondered if the grass might just be greener on the other side.
