A blizzard rages and nine school kids are stranded in a desolate shack at the bottom of the world. With a sinister force lurking outside, their survival instincts and courage are put to the ultimate test. Follow the intrepid young explorers as they tread the haunted paths once taken by the legendary Ernest Shackleton. As they confront the harsh elements and their fears, they grapple with profound questions about their place in the natural and social order of the world.

The Marian St Theatre for Young People production of Shack is a thrilling blend of comedy and suspense, navigating the turbulent waters between teen anxiety and invincibility. In a world where young people are increasingly called upon to take the lead, this play explores how they can rise to the challenge when simply existing feels like a monumental task.
