Love Your Nature at Royal Botanic Garden Sydney

Discover the fascinating world of plant love in Royal Botanic Garden Sydney's new immersive exhibition.

Love Your Nature will bring a kaleidoscope of colours, plants, and passion to the Calyx, the Royal Botanic Garden's dedicated floral exhibition space.

Plant love has existed since the beginning of time. For aeons, they have reproduced among themselves, with other plants, and with the help of water, wind, fungi, insects, and other animals.  

 

Curated by the Royal Botanic Garden Sydney horticultural team, featuring over 20,000 plants and one of the largest living green walls in the Southern Hemisphere, this year’s exhibition celebrates all kinds of plant love!

From prehistoric plants that reproduce using clones, spores, and seeds, to flowering plants that make clever use of their unique colours, shapes, and scents to attract animals, to human match-makers that bring plant species together to produce bigger fruit and brighter flowers, and to protect wild plants in the future, you will delve into the fascinating love life of the natural world.

After the exhibition, take a break at the Calyx’s own kiosk, the Leaf Department, and fuel up on great coffee and juice, breakfasts, sandwiches, sweets and snacks. Open 8 am–4 pm every day.

Please note: In addition to being a public exhibition space, the Calyx can also be rented for private functions. There may be occasions when the Calyx will be closed to facilitate private events.
