DinoFest at Sydney Olympic Park

Dinosaurs are returning to Sydney Olympic Park this summer with the blockbuster DinoFest roaring back into Blaxland Riverside Park.

Bursting with life-size prehistoric creatures, hands-on activities and new animatronic stars, this hugely popular family experience is gearing up for another season of high-energy fun for young dinosaur fans.

If your kids love all things T. rex, fossils and stomping giants, this is one Sydney school holiday event you will not want to miss.

DinoFest at Sydney Olympic Park

The smash-hit family adventure that wowed Sydney in 2024 is back, bigger and bolder for summer 2026. DinoFest returns to Blaxland Riverside Park with even more live-action dinosaurs, larger-than-life encounters and hands-on prehistoric fun for families.

With more than 30 life-size dinosaurs roaming the park, DinoFest gives kids the thrill of stepping into a prehistoric world. Experience walking Triceratops, Stegosaurus and Spinosaurus, plus cheeky baby dinosaurs that children can meet and gently touch. In-character rangers add to the atmosphere, guiding families through each encounter with plenty of fun facts and friendly surprises along the way.

DinoFest 2026 Highlights

• Live Dinosaur Encounters - the 45-minute Dinosaur Encounter is the heart-pounding centrepiece of the event. Kids come face-to-face with moving, roaring prehistoric favourites led by expert rangers who keep the adventure running smoothly.
• The New Dino Trail - back for 2026 and now with a towering Brachiosaurus, the Dino Trail lets families wander through spectacular displays, perfect for curious little explorers who want to see more than just the main show.
• Hands-On Kids’ Activities - DinoFest brings plenty of creative and educational fun with a dedicated Dino Dig, arts and crafts, and the chance to handle real dinosaur bones.

DinoFest is especially suited to children aged nine and younger. Book online early to secure their preferred date and session!
