As part of the Sydney Science Trail, the Community Day adventure will take you behind the scenes of the Gardens' scientific hub with hands-on workshops, family-friendly walks, and tours led by the experts.

The Sydney Science Trail Family Community Day at the Australian Botanic Garden Mount Annan brings science to life with interactive activities, nature experiences and engaging talks designed to make science fun and accessible.

Set within the wide-open spaces of the Garden, this National Science Week event is a chance to explore, learn and play in a relaxed outdoor setting.

From hands-on experiments and engaging displays to nature-based learning experiences, kids will be encouraged to explore the world around them and discover how science connects to everyday life.

With science talks and demonstrations led by experts, it is a fantastic opportunity to introduce children to everything from environmental science to the wonders of the natural world.

The Botanic Gardens of Sydney also hosts a jam-packed program of Sydney Science Trail school excursions to celebrate National Science Week, allowing primary and secondary students to think, talk and experience a broad range of sciences.
