Animal Yoga at the Australian Museum
Has the little one been climbing the walls at home lately? Time to channel that energy into something fun and beneficial with the Animal Yoga workshop at the Australian Museum! Designed especially for kids aged three-six, this workshop is unlike anything they've ever tried before.
Each session takes place in the incredible Wild Planet exhibition, right under a whopping 17m whale skeleton and surrounded by a plethora of other animals - think lions, tigers, and bears (oh my!). Imagine little Tommy or Sally striking a Lion Pose next to an actual lion, talk about a cool yoga experience!
Led by the talented Rachael Coopes, who's not just a yoga teacher but also a Play School presenter, each session of Animal Yoga is filled with fun and laughter. There's no prior yoga experience required, but kids will need to bring their sense of adventure and a readiness to have a blast.
Ticket prices are pretty neat too! It's $15 per session for members, and $20 for non-members. Plus, if you've got a small group of six or more, you'll get a 20% discount. Or you could grab a 5-session pass for the price of just four. Parents can join the fun for free - how awesome is that?
So, why wait? Give your little one a chance to get their Zen on in the most exciting way possible. Animal Yoga - it's a roaring good time!
