The Crocs Stilleto Has Just Landed at $1000 a Pair

At first mention, Crocs and high fashion might seem like an oxymoron but it’s happened – the Crocs stiletto has just been released.

The Crocs stiletto is the creation of a collaborative effort between luxury fashion brand Balenciaga and, well, Crocs .

The fashion house released the bright green monstrosities (well, they are) as part of its spring summer 2022 collection.

Dubbed Balenciaga Crocs 2.0, the design has the body of a Croc – created with the same signature squishy foam material – but with the heel reminiscent of a Nerf bullet.

And the cost? A cool $1000 a pair.

And it didn’t end there, with Balenciaga then releasing a Crocs-style gumboot which isn’t as offensive but will still cost you over a $1000

It’s not the first time Balenciaga has put its spin on the most divisive shoe style in the history of womankind, with creative director Demna Gvasalia introducing platform Crocs in 2017.
