It's wet, it's wild, it's RAGING! Say hello to Sydney's largest waterpark, Raging Waters Sydney. And bid farewell to Wet’n’Wild Sydney - the Prospect waterpark has quietly been going through a rebrand and makeover with some major enhancements, including a brand new thrill-seeking ride.

Spanish-based international theme park operator Parques Reunidos purchased the park in 2018 and have invested millions of dollars during the off season to make this the best summer ever for waterpark lovers.

What's New?

Get in line for the brand new, first-of-its-kind slide which will take riders on a thrilling 206-metre journey, Whirlwind! It begins with a plunge through a darkened enclosed tunnel that quickly opens up into an open downward curve. Guests will travel high around the spiral as the curve drops them 2.5-metres at speeds of up to 25 kph then head back into the dark before emerging into the second open spiral.

Hang onto your hats as you journey from dark to light and back again before the final splashdown!

Whirlwind will open in November 2019 on Tower 1, home to the popular H2Go Racers and 360 Rush.

Also new to the park this 2019 - 2020 season are new food outlets, a gift shop, more shade, new family VIP cabanas, and convenient payment plans to pay off your Season Pass before the season starts.

Have They Ironed Out The Creases?

In previous seasons at Wet'n'Wild there have been disgruntled guests who thought the pricing of the season passes were unfair. Many locals were angered over the cost of the pass which did not include parking or discounts on food.

“I hope our guests are as excited as I am about Raging Waters Sydney! We have listened to our guests and have made some key changes that will improve their experience in the Park. We are looking forward to a great season,” said Raging Waters Sydney General Manager, Tony Brancazio.

Season Passes are now on sale and start at $64.99 if you buy online. Click here for more information.

The park will officially open on 28th September 2019. We'll update you with all the wild raging details as we get them...
