PSA: Cult US Burger Chain Lands Down Under
Few people do better burgers and fries than much-loved US Burger Chain, Five Guys. And guess what? The rumours are true! The chain is officially opening its first venue in Sydney this year.
Location, Location, Location
Look, it isn’t the CBD haunt everyone was hoping for (thanks for that, COVID), but Seagrass Boutique Hospitality Group (the Australian & New Zealand Master Franchisee of Five Guys) has officially signed a deal with the Panthers Group to open the first Five Guys venue in Penrith.
After six months of considered research into the region, Five Guys and Seagrass BHG contend that Penrith is a dynamic hub that offers huge potential in terms of growth in the health, education, and logistics sectors.
In Good Company
The all-new Five Guys will be positioned adjacent to Australia's first Krispy Kreme store—and situated right next door to the Panthers League Club, which comes with its renowned entertainment and dining precinct. There's also a KFC and McDonalds closeby, on one of the busiest roads in Western Sydney.
The Future's Bright
Seagrass will continue to pursue locations in the CBD that offer the visibility and foot traffic that will do Five Guys justice—with locations from Circular Quay to Darling Harbour and Broadway all being considered.
With regards to the Penrith store—the building is set to commence in the next several weeks, meaning that come mid-2021, the perfect American burger will be right on our doorstep!
