If there's one thing we know to be true, it's that Sydneysiders love themselves a little treat ensconced in a brown paper bag accompanying their weekend coffee. And the vast majority of the time, it's croissants rattling around in those bags, just waiting to be devoured.

1. Loulou Boulangerie 

On weekend mornings, you'll find a queue around the block at Lou Lou's in Milsons Point. Their croissants in Sydney are simple but done oh-so-well, so you can bet your bottom dollar you'll be licking up every last crumb of their ever-evolving pastry options.

2. Lune Croissanterie (coming soon)

World-famous Lune's Sydney iteration is landing in 2023, and we'd like the minutes to show, it can't come soon enough!

Their Melbourne locations bring flaky delights such as Coconut Rough Croissants—twice-baked pain au chocolat jammed full of cocoa and coconut frangipane and topped with flaked coconut and dark chocolate—plus a heavenly-sounding Birthday Cake Croissant.⁠ Drool!

3. Rollers Bakehouse

Rollers Bakehouse has unsuspectingly tucked down a back lane in a shop-front inspired by modernist Californian architecture in Manly.

They're renowned for combining classic French pastry techniques with seriously supercharged, complex flavour profiles like hummus and eggplant croissants and gianduja croissants. Yum!

Humble Bakery is hands-down one of the best places to grab a croissant in Sydney - trust us on this!

6. Oh My Days
