Sydney's Magical Blue Pool

Not to be confused with the famous Blue Pool Walking Track, this hidden gem is nowhere near the Blue Mountains, in fact, it's south of Sydney in the glorious Budderoo National Park.
As its mystical name suggests, the Blue Pool is a glowing natural watering hole that lets off a stunning azure shimmer when the light hits it just right. The kids will love immersing themselves in the rainforest-like surroundings, spotting tadpoles in the water, or even going for a refreshing dip. If you're visiting with the intention to swim, Blue Pool is yours for the splashing, but be sure to watch the little ones as the water is quite deep. And if you're in the mood for even more adventure, the impressive 50-metre Carrington Falls are downstream from the Blue Pool.
