Western Sydney is home to some pretty epic playgrounds, to say the least. When you've got major players like Bungarribee, Fairfield Adventure Park, Lizard Log, and Blaxland Riverside Park, you'd think that the list of playgrounds out West couldn't get any better, but think again!
Western Sydney now has a brand-new playground at the Blacktown Exercise Sports and Technology Hub and let me tell you, it's pretty epic!

If you haven't yet heard about the Blacktown Exercise Sports and Technology Hub, you're not the only one.
The brand-new Blacktown Exercise Sports and Technology Hub (BEST) sits right next to the mega Blacktown International Sportspark precinct and opened in October 2023.
Designed to harness technology, research, and a multidisciplinary approach to positively impact community health, research, sporting performance and rehabilitation, the Blacktown Exercise Sports and Technology Hub is set to become a world-class facility where Australia's best sub-elite athletes and professional teams can develop their skills.
According to the Mayor of Blacktown, Tony Bleasdale OAM, "BEST will deliver world-class facilities and will take community health and sport innovation to a new level. These transformational projects are a source of much excitement in our city."
But enough about the sports, let's get to the playground!
What's on Offer at the New Physical Literacy Playground
Along with impressive, state-of-the-art sporting facilities, BEST is home to a range of advanced facilities and programs, including sports science and allied health, rehabilitation, an aquatic recovery pool, conference facilities, a cafe, and a new playground.
The new playground at Blacktown Exercise Sports and Technology Hub is called Physical Literacy because it's been designed to "create an environment where people of all ages can come together to enjoy the benefits of being physically active in a green space. Kids of all ages will love exploring the new playground that has loads to see and do, including:
