Tru Ninja Sydney: Where Kids Can Climb, Leap and Conquer

Sydney families, listen up: the ninja takeover is real and spectacular. If your weekends involve bored kids, too much screen time, and at least one "but what are we doing today?", then Tru Ninja is about to become your new best friend.

Tru Ninja's mega indoor ninja warrior adventure parks have foam pits that swallow your dignity gracefully, warped walls to humble the overconfident, and somehow everyone — kids, teens, and the dad who said he'd just watch — ends up absolutely puffed and grinning.

Sydney now has not one but TWO locations, because apparently one venue full of 100 obstacles just wasn't enough to contain all this energy.

Tru Ninja Penrith — The OG

Tru Ninja Penrith is a massive indoor ninja obstacle arena in Western Sydney, packed with high-energy challenges for kids and teenagers. From climbing walls and balance obstacles to strength and agility courses, it's a space designed to keep bodies moving and confidence growing.

What's Inside?

Run, swing and jump through the obstacle courses.

Around 100 interchangeable obstacles are on offer, from the famous warped wall to a jump tower with airbags. So yes, there is a tower you jump off of. Into a giant airbag. You're welcome, kids!

Tru Ninja Penrith caters for most age groups: there's even a Mini Ninjas Playgroup for children aged 5 and under (foam pits and a gentle set of small obstacles). SEN (Special Educational Needs) sessions are also available for those with additional needs, in a quiet environment with no flashing lights or music, so people of varying abilities can work on fitness and confidence.

There's also a more challenging section for teens and adults, plus a cafe upstairs to replenish yourself afterwards.

Tru Ninja Rouse Hill — Opening 28 May 2026

How cool are the glow-up slides?!

A second Tru Ninja venue is opening in Rouse Hill, and it's just as packed with epic Ninja action as the OG!

Tru Ninja Rouse Hill is your new favourite indoor adventure arena designed for kids, teens and grown-ups who love to climb, balance, swing, jump and test their limits.

Loads of ninja-style challenges await, from walls to conquer and balance beams to master to agility obstacles that build strength, coordination and confidence along the way. It's all about movement, problem-solving and giving each challenge a red-hot go, whether your little ninja is a first-timer or already thinks they're ready for the grand final.

Bonus for the little ones: Rouse Hill will feature dedicated toddler areas, so even the tiniest ninjas-in-training can get in on the action without face-planting quite as dramatically as dad.

FAQS

What age is Tru Ninja suitable for?

Tru Ninja is designed for all ages. With obstacles ranging from gentle and beginner-friendly right through to seriously challenging, there's genuinely something for every age and ability level.

Can toddlers and young children participate?

Yes, tiny ninjas are very welcome. Tru Ninja has dedicated areas for younger children, including foam pits and smaller, age-appropriate obstacles perfect for building coordination, balance and confidence. Tru Ninja Rouse Hill also features a dedicated toddler zone, great news for families with a range of ages in tow. Parents can accompany little ones in these areas, so no one has to tackle the foam pit alone.

Is it suitable for kids with sensory sensitivities or additional needs?

Yes, Tru Ninja Penrith offers dedicated SEN (Special Educational Needs) sessions specifically designed for participants with additional needs. These sessions take place in a quieter environment, with no flashing lights or loud music, giving kids the chance to enjoy the course comfortably and at their own pace. Check the website or contact the venue directly for current SEN session times.

Do parents need to participate, or can they just watch?

Watching is absolutely an option, and honestly, sipping a coffee from the on-site cafe while the kids burn off three weeks' worth of energy is a perfectly valid parenting strategy. Plenty of parents do jump in, and the obstacles cater to adults, too. There are also adult sessions every Friday and Saturday at 7 pm.

Is there a minimum height requirement?

There is one height restriction to be aware of: kids need to be at least 1.25m tall to use the jump tower. All other obstacles are accessible regardless of height.

How do I book a session?

Head to truninja.com.au and hit the Book Now button — choose your location (Penrith or Rouse Hill), pick your session length and grab your spot.

Do I need to book in advance, or can I just walk in?

Online booking is strongly recommended, especially on weekends and during school holidays when sessions fill up fast. Walk-ins may be available subject to capacity.

How long should we plan to be there?

Sessions run for 1, 1.5 or 2 hours, but factor in a little extra time for check-in, getting gloves sorted and signing the waiver before you hit the course.
