A Brand New Family-Friendly Country Club Has Opened Just South of Sydney

What is The Wilton at Bingara Gorge?

The sprawling new venue — the result of a $50 million investment by Metro Property Development — sits overlooking the fairways of Bingara Gorge Golf Course, about an hour south-west of Sydney.

Designed by the Feros Group (the team behind The Prince Hotel in Kirrawee and Cronulla's Parc Pavilion), it can accommodate up to 1,000 guests across a family bistro and bar, a dedicated sports bar and a sun-drenched beer garden that spills out onto an open terrace overlooking the golf green and kids' outdoor play area.

Is The Wilton at Bingara Gorge Good for Families with Kids?

Absolutely. The venue is built with families firmly in mind, with long lunches, sunset drinks, and kids happily running off energy in the large outdoor play area while the grown-ups settle in. They've also got loads of free weekly fun, including kids' activities!

What's on the Menu at The Wilton?

The menu is all about seasonal, locally sourced produce with a comfort food twist. Highlights include a dry-aged beef program and fresh produce from an on-site working garden. They're championing hearty, shareable food that works just as well for a family lunch as it does for a relaxed dinner with friends.

Weekly Events at The Wilton

There are loads of fun things for families to do at The Wilton, including a packed weekly program:

Kids Day — Sundays 12-2 pm
This is the one to bookmark. Every Sunday in the beer garden, The Wilton hosts a dedicated Kids Day with rotating activities, including face painting, slime-making, balloon twisting, and — the crowd favourite — a reptile zoo. Bookings are recommended.

Live Music — Fridays & Saturdays
The Wilton brings in local duos and soloists every Friday from 6-9 pm and Saturday from 2-5 pm and again from 6-9 pm. The Saturday afternoon session in particular is a great option for families who want a lively atmosphere without keeping the kids out too late.

Bottomless Lunch — Daily 12-3 pm
For the grown-ups, there's a daily Bottomless Lunch from 12-3 pm, offering two hours of bottomless cocktails, beer, wine, and soft drinks, plus a three-course shared menu. Bookings are essential. 

Trivia — Wednesdays from 7.30 pm
If you're making a midweek overnight of it, Wednesday trivia nights are a fun option for older kids and adults alike, with weekly prizes up for grabs.

2 for 1 Meals — Monday to Thursday
If you dine on a Friday to Sunday, you'll receive a voucher for 2-for-1 meals Monday to Thursday, which is a handy perk if you're planning a return visit or staying in the area for a few days.

How Far is The Wilton from Sydney?

The Wilton is located at 48 The Irons Drive, Wilton, about an hour south-west of the CBD, making it an easy and scenic day trip from Sydney, or practically on the doorstep for families in Campbelltown, Camden and the South West. 

They're officially opening their doors on 15 May 2026, and their Bistro hours will be:

Monday to Friday
Lunch from 11.30 am to 3 pm
Dinner from 5-9 pm

Weekends
All-day dining from 11.30 am to 9 pm
