Get Your Wobbly Pancake Fix at Sydney❜s Gram Cafés

It's stacks on (pun intended!) at Sydney's Gram Cafés, where you'll find your new sweet obsession: their ultra fluffy pancake stack.

The Gram Café phenomenon is nothing new, having opened in Osaka back in 2014 and then making its way to Sydney in 2020, and now a FOURTH Gram Café has opened up in Sydney, which is a super sweet deal for those who live closer to the city!

The first Gram Café in Australia opened its doors in Chatswood and created quite the frenzy with every Sydneysider keen to get their hands on one of the many incredible pancake flavours on the menu, in particular their legendary soufflé pancakes. 

But if you, like many who live closer to the city, can't be bothered to travel to Chatswood to get your fluffy pancake fix, you won't have to! A second Gram Café opened in The Galeries on George Street back in 2021 and was quickly rolling out their famous breakfast-meets-dessert offerings to the masses.

Cheers to More Fluffy Pancakes

Then in 2023, a delectable twist on the souffle pancake hit Sydney with TWO brand-new cafes called Cheers Pancake in Miranda and Castle Hill. Founded in 2022 by the culinary wizards behind Gram Café & Pancakes, Cheers Pancake offer wobbly pancakes along with other tantalising creations, such as Nutella Hazelnut Pancakes, Ice Cream Pancakes, Biscoff Pancakes, and even Oreo Cream Pancakes - yum!

But, true to its roots, the pièce de résistance of Cheers remains those impeccable Premium Japanese Soufflé Pancakes. Towering three pancakes high, these cloud-like delights come adorned with fresh whipped cream, butter, and maple syrup. Brace yourself, Sydney! A delightful, fluffy pancake journey awaits, guaranteed to have your taste buds twirling in glee.

Cheers Pancakes also serve incredible pancakes-to-go (served cold) in a select flavours, including Nutella Hazelnut, Strawberry, Oreo, and Original. 

So, What is a Souffle Pancake?

Unlike your usual flat-cake pancakes, souffle pancakes are devilishly thick (at least 5 cm!) and made using an egg-white-heavy batter that’s whipped, steamed under metal domes and then cooked. The wobbly creation is topped with fresh cream and is akin to eating a plate of fresh clouds.
