World❜s First McDonald❜s Fries Restaurant Pops Up in Sydney

Get ready for a carbohydrate carnival! McDonald’s is set to open the world’s first fries-exclusive restaurant in none other than our lovely city of Sydney. This carb haven is a dream come true for all fry enthusiasts and will be popping up in Darling Harbour this month.

Dubbed the "fry-thru" restaurant, this novel pop-up is courtesy of the iconic fast-food chain, McDonald's. Almost five meters in height, this eatery isn't just serving up fries; it's shaped like a giant packet of fries too! You won't be able to miss this larger-than-life chip packet at Tumbalong Park during the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup.

In addition to frying up heaps of their classic chips, McDonald's will serve a limited edition of 'sauces of the world' condiments. Inspired by the countries participating in the Women’s World Cup, these sauces include the Outback BBQ Sauce and Wasabi-flavoured Mayo Sauce.

This fry-tastic experience isn't just for football fans; everyone is welcome to partake in the frenzy of fries. McDonald’s will also be launching a variety of experiences outside stadiums in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth, and Adelaide, including an interactive photo booth that gives personalised collectible cards to eager fans.
