Get ready to dive into a world of wintery fun at Darling Harbour’s annual WINTERFEST!
Throughout the July school holidays, Darling Harbour will be buzzing with epic adventures and activities including a FREE 4-day festival, ice skating, films, fireworks, and so much more.
WINTERFEST at Darling Harbour
Escape the chill (but not the thrills) at Darling Harbour’s Tumbalong Park, Winter Park, a free 4-day festival packed with fun for the whole family.
The event line-up includes a Gaming Zone and the Winter Slime Workshop, where kids can get creative and make their own slime masterpieces to take home. In the afternoon, guests can cosy up and enjoy action-filled Winter Adventure Film screenings showcasing the most exhilarating scenes of extreme winter sports. To cap off the night, Winter Park will feature Winter Park Beats, with tunes from DJs and children's entertainment.
The magic of winter continues at Palm Grove Forecourt with WINTERFEST Ice Rink Presented by 2DayFM against the backdrop of Cockle Bay. This open-air ice skating rink offers the perfect winter escape for both seasoned skaters and newbies.
And of course—no Darling Harbour day out is complete without the Winter Skies Fireworks extravaganza—happening on select days throughout the holidays!

- Winter Skies Fireworks: Every evening at 8.30 pm from Thursday 18 July - Sunday 21 July
- Family Fun: Enjoy wildlife, storytimes, movies, and more. Keep the kids active with An Underwater Adventure at SEA LIFE Sydney Aquarium, enjoy the brand new Darling Harbour playground, or Immersive Game Box Sydney. For a slower pace, try Kung Fu Fun and Friendship Bracelet Classes at the Chinese Garden of Friendship or storytime sessions at Darling Square Library.
