Snow Time in the Garden at Hunter Valley Gardens 2024

Hunter Valley Gardens celebrates the return of its coolest event - Snow Time in the Garden in 2024. 

Located approximately 2 hours from Sydney and less than an hour from Newcastle, the Hunter Valley is an easy day trip for the family, particularly during winter when the magical gardens transform into a winter wonderland!

The Gardens transform into an icy adventure full of fun and frosty activities for children of all ages! Glide on the giant ice-skating rink, slide down the mega ice toboggan and build a snowman in the man-made Snow Play Zone.

Hunter Valley Garden's five incredible carnival rides including the traditional Venetian Carousel, 25-metre Ferris wheel, super speedy Swing Chair, thrilling Superslide and twisty Teacups will be available for the thrill-seekers throughout Snow Time.

Plus, there will be a range of winter beverages and hearty winter food on sale to help keep you toasty and warm. 

Ice Skating Rink

Spin around the ice on the Snow Time Ice Skating Rink. The extended Ice Rink with an allocated junior section gives skaters lots of room to glide around like a pro. Skating sessions last for 20 minutes and start at 10 am every day. 

Giant Ice Toboggan

Experience the super-fast Ice Toboggan – once won’t be enough! Grab a tube and glide down the 45-metre slide, it’s sure to get your adrenaline pumping.

Mega Snow Play Zone

Have some icy fun in the fantastic man-made snow play area. Man-made snow makes this a must for kids who want to build snowmen, make a snow

• Snow Time activities open daily from 9.30 am to 4.30 pm
• The last Snow Time activity entry is at 3 pm
