Tulip Time 2024 Brings 80,000 Tulips to Life

Celebrating '63 Sparkling Years' in 2024, the Southern Highlands Tulip Time Festival is one of Australia's oldest and most loved floral festivals.

Over 80,000 tulips and 25,000 annuals will be on show in a spectacular springtime display, plus, there will be another 30,000 tulips planted throughout the Shire area, creating a jaw-dropping visual extravaganza!

An abundant array of tulip varieties in a spectrum of glorious colours will be in full bloom at Tulip Time 2024, creating a fabulous background for avid green thumbs, photographers, gardeners, and selfie-takers!

The 19-day festival is a celebration of stunning flora, entertainment, special events, and premier private gardens, set in the picturesque historic Corbett Gardens in the heart of Bowral. Experience a kaleidoscope of colour as you meander through the spectacular displays of mass-planted tulips, cool-climate flowering annuals and blossoming cherry, crab apple, and magnolia trees.

Daily entertainment will be in full swing featuring bands, dancers, choirs, and fun family activities. Over 20 stalls with a range of handcrafted wares and local produce will create a lively marketplace and you can indulge in freshly made scones, pies, Gozleme, pancakes and more. If you're visiting after dark, don't miss the special Tulips After Dark program with live music, food and drinks, and brightly lit displays of the tulips in all their glory. Plus, this October long weekend there will be a darling Tulip Time Garden Party with beverages, food, and artisan markets.
