Real Festival 2024

Mark your calendars for a weekend of FREE fun and excitement! Real Festival is back in Penrith on Friday 20 and Saturday 21 September 2024.

Set in the picturesque Tench Reserve by the Nepean River, this free festival is the perfect way to welcome spring with your family. Ideal for all ages, the festival offers a plethora of activities that promise a good time without breaking the bank.

Real Festival takes the festival experience up a notch with live entertainment, food trucks, markets, and a variety of workshops. Mark your calendars now!

Real Festival 2024 Highlights

Entertainment
Enjoy the sounds of local and visiting musicians on the riverside acoustic stage, perfect for a relaxing family outing, and keep an eye out for vibrant Pop Art performers and mesmerising fire twirlers, who will surprise and delight you as they wander through the festival.

Roller Rink by Busways
Skate Sessions: Get ready to glide at the Roller Rink by Busways with free 30-minute skate sessions, all set to a DJ spinning your favourite tracks throughout the festival. Pre-booking details will be available soon.

Art
There will be beautiful art on display at the festival, including The Guardians; a striking inflatable artwork inspired by Australian wildflowers. Meanwhile, Shadow House is a one-of-a-kind textile art installation crafted from recycled materials. By day, enjoy a peaceful sensory space, and by night, be entertained by interactive puppet shows.

Kids Zone
Jump into creative hands-on workshops for all ages to try out new skills or dive into fun projects. Collaborate on evolving artworks or create a personal keepsake.

Open Air Arcade
Step back in time with classic arcade games in the open-air arcade, offering fun for all ages.

On-Water Activities
Feel the excitement of dragon boat racing on the river. Whether you're paddling or cheering from the shore, it's a thrilling experience you won't want to miss. Or, explore the Nepean River from a new perspective with free kayaking and stand-up paddleboarding.
