Epping 60th Birthday Celebration: Free Family Day in Epping

Y Epping is turning 60, and the whole community is invited to the party! On Sunday 15 November 2026, there’s an afternoon of free activities, live entertainment, prizes and plenty of fun for children and families of all ages.

Whether your kids love sport, fire trucks, mini trains or birthday cake, this free family event in Epping has something for everyone. Every activity on the list is free, so children can have a go at as many as they like.

Free Family Activities for Y Epping 60th Birthday Celebration

Kids can try gymnastics classes and workshops, soccer workshops, karate, yoga, social pickleball, basketball and frisbee, or head to the face painting stall. It’s a great chance to try a new sport without spending a cent. There will also be the chance to meet local firefighters, chat with them and climb aboard two fire trucks for an up-close look.

Food trucks, cake stalls and a community BBQ will be on site, with food and drinks available to purchase. Mini train rides around the park are also available, with tickets sold on the day. And don’t forget the free anniversary cake from 12:30pm. Arrive early, because it won’t last long!

Take part in the competitions throughout the day, with prizes up for grabs and a few surprises for the whole family.
