Originally released in 1993, The Nightmare Before Christmas is based on a poem and characters created by Tim Burton. The story follows Jack Skellington, the Pumpkin King of Halloween Town, who grows weary of the same old Halloween routine.

Eager to try something new, Jack decides to bring Christmas to Halloween Town—despite the wise warnings of Sally, the clever ragdoll. With the help of three mischievous trick-or-treaters, Jack kidnaps Santa Claus, setting off a chain of events that turns Christmas into a nightmare for children everywhere.
