The Little Food Market is Coming to Sydney

The Little Food Market is coming to Sydney for the first time, bringing 180+ food and drink producers to Carriageworks in Eveleigh from 21 - 23 August.

Families can taste, shop and feast their way through artisan cheeses, pastries, premium pantry goods and delicious dishes, with live cooking demonstrations on The Stage. Kids 12 and under are free!

The Little Food Market: A Tasty Family Day Out in Sydney

Get ready to eat, sip, sample and shop your way around Carriageworks as The Little Food Market makes its Sydney debut, following popular events in Melbourne.

This three-day festival brings together over 180 Australian food and drink producers under one roof. Foodie families can explore everything from artisan cheeses, fresh pastries and premium olive oils to chilli oils, black garlic, handcrafted butter, Japanese pantry staples, smallgoods and innovative fermented foods.

There are plenty of tastings and snack-sized treats to sample, plus gluten-free and plant-based options. 

Live Demos on The Stage

The Stage serves up a delicious program of live cooking demonstrations and conversations with some of Australia's leading chefs, producers and food personalities.

Catch acclaimed pastry chef Christopher Thé from Hearthe showcasing the latest evolution of his famous Strawberry Watermelon Cake, while chef George Calombaris shares the secrets behind his much-loved Mussels & Mash.

Stop for The Feast

Hungry? Head to The Feasting precinct, where some of Sydney's favourite kitchens serve up full-sized signature dishes to enjoy on the spot. No bookings are needed, so grab the family, pull up a seat and dig into flavours spanning Italian classics, Greek street food and Japanese comfort dishes.

With vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free choices on the menu, there’s something to keep hungry food explorers happy!

For serious foodies, enthusiastic snackers or anyone who loves a delicious day out in Sydney, The Little Food Market is serving up plenty to taste and take home.
