Family Day inspired by The last coconut drifted with Morgan Hogg
You are invited to experience this feature exhibition through an array of hands-on activities that explore culture and connection. Learn raffia skirt-making techniques, join accessible dance workshops, try your hand at fabric printing, and share stories and skills through a vibrant Pasifika lens.
Whether you're making, listening or simply reflecting, this is a wonderful opportunity to slow down, create together, and celebrate the power of shared knowledge.
Alongside the Family Day activities, be sure to check out The last coconut drifted exhibition, a celebration of Morgan Hogg's Cook Island heritage, community, and the stories passed down through generations. Featuring video, sound, textiles and carving, many of the key works in the show have been created in collaboration with Morgan’s own family and friends.
Spend a morning with us at The Leo Kelly Blacktown Arts Centre for a warm and welcoming family-friendly event honouring Pasifika culture. Don’t miss this unique experience!
