Blacktown’s huge open-plain zoo, Sydney Zoo is home to over 4,000 animals, including all of your favourite characters from The Lion King, the quintessential Aussie delights and endangered species from around the world. See it all on foot (the zoo is flat and very easy to get around) or take it all in from the heights of the Ferris Wheel.

4. Get some air at Flip Out Blacktown

Featherdale is home to over 60 rare and endangered animals including Tasmanian devils, dingoes, penguins, and cassowaries. Plus, don’t leave without saying hello to the giant saltwater crocodile.

This family-friendly arts hub was originally a church and now features an interactive performance studio, two gallery spaces, a dedicated making space, and a weaving garden that combines nature with artistic expression.
