Sunday 4 May | Nurragingy Reserve, Doonside
Kick off the festival month with smooth tunes and good vibes at Nurragingy Reserve. This relaxed outdoor concert features top R’n’B and reggae acts set against the tranquil surroundings of one of Blacktown’s most scenic parks. Pack a picnic blanket, bring the kids, and groove your way into May.

Sweet Indulgence Dessert Festival
Friday 16 May | The Village Green, Blacktown
Treat your tastebuds to this decadent evening of sugary delights! The Village Green will be overflowing with tempting desserts and live entertainment. Kids will love the sweet treats and interactive activities including free face painting, roving performers and a baby bungy jump, while parents can savour a well-deserved indulgence.

Swingin’ Sounds: Rat Pack Reloaded
Sunday 18 May | Blacktown Showground
Step back in time with the smooth swing of big band classics. With timeless tunes like My Way, Viva Las Vegas and Come Fly with Me, this free family-friendly concert is a fun evening for music lovers of all ages, with vintage charm and plenty of toe-tapping.

Saturday 24 & Sunday 25 May | Nurragingy Reserve
A perennial favourite and now in its 20th year, the Medieval Fayre is a true spectacle. Watch knights joust in epic live-action battles, marvel at medieval displays, and let the kids explore hands-on activities in a truly magical setting. With a feathered friends show, handmade arts and crafts, a working Blacksmith and Woodturners village, and medieval-themed food, this is one of Western Sydney’s biggest and best family days out. 

Dorothy the Dinosaur & Friends Show
Wednesday 28 May | Bowman Hall, Blacktown
Little ones will be delighted by this special live performance featuring everyone’s favourite Wiggles characters. Dance, sing and stomp along with Dorothy the Dinosaur, Captain Feathersword, Wags the Dog and Henry the Octopus in an interactive show made just for kids. It's free!

It all culminates in this colourful, high-energy finale! The streets of Blacktown burst into life with roving performers, bustling markets, carnival rides, and kids’ entertainment galore including airbrush tattoos, petting zoo, lawn games and rock climbing. The highlight? The spectacular Parade through the CBD – a celebration of the city’s incredible diversity and community pride showcasing Blacktown’s multiculturalism, history, emergency services and local groups.
