Sydney Writers❜ Festival❜s Family Day 2023
- Sun May 28 2023

Sydney Writers' Festival's Family Day returns, offering a variety of talks, activities, and performances catered to children of all ages. This action-packed Sunday event features edible bugs, explosions, inflatable bin chickens, and an epic illustrator battle.
Attendees can enjoy Nazeem Hussain and Heath McKenzie discussing their hit series "Hy-larious Hyena," while also exploring the strength of writing partnerships between Kate & Jol Temple and Matt Zeremes & Guy Edmonds. The fun doesn't stop there, as participants are invited to contribute to the creative process of transforming a picture book into a music score, which will then be performed live with Matt Ottley. No matter the adventure chosen, a fantastic day awaits at the Sydney Writers' Festival Family Day!
