Play! Kids Festival: School Holiday Fun At The Pavilion Sutherland

School holidays are the time for kids to play and have fun, and the perfect place to do it is at Play! Kids Festival at Sutherland’s exciting entertainment venue, The Pavilion.

Over five big days this October, The Play! Kids Festival will transform The Pavilion Performing Arts Centre in Sutherland into an action-packed playground for children to be immersed in a vibrant array of performances and workshops.

South Sydney’s biggest kids performing arts festival is back these school holidays, bringing five action-packed days of shows, workshops and creative adventures for the whole family.

The Play! Kids Festival takes over The Pavilion Performing Arts Centre in Sutherland from 1 - 5 October with a wonderland of music, movement and imagination.

Play! Kids Festival Highlights

The Play! Kids Festival line-up is bigger than ever, with some of Sydney’s favourite children’s performers taking to the stage for the festival.

• ARIA Award-winner Emma Memma and her brand-new show, Dance Island Party, live on stage. Expect joy-filled songs, dance and storytelling, with AUSLAN woven through her choreography to celebrate inclusiveness and friendship.
• Don't miss the new premiere of Shark Dive by acclaimed puppeteers Erth - an incredible production that brings the ocean to life with giant sharks and mesmerising marine puppetry, blending art, storytelling and conservation. 
• Junkyard Beats will also bring their award-winning hit The Box Show to the festival, transforming everyday items into instruments for a high-energy drumming and comedy performance.
• Little imaginations will also soar with IMAGINE LIVE, a musical adventure inspired by Alison Lester’s beloved book Imagine, featuring digital puppetry and original music.

There will also be dance and art workshops, and plenty of free activities, including daily Storytime, foyer games and colouring competitions, so gather the family, grab your tickets, and get ready to play!

              Daily activities start from 8.45 am. Performances at 10 am and 1 pm.
