Picnic in the Park 2025: Smiles, Smurfs & Sesame Street Fun!

Pack your snacks and roll out your picnic rug — Picnic in the Park is back at Lakeside Park on Saturday 30 August 2025, and it’s shaping up to be one of the most magical family mornings of the year.

From 9 am to 12 pm, families, friends and fun-seekers of all ages are invited to enjoy music, dancing and community vibes under the sun — complete with some very special guests.

• Papa Smurf and Smurfette star in a charming mystery straight from Smurf Village

• Elmo, Cookie Monster and pals from Sesame Street will be singing, grooving and delighting little ones with their famous fuzzy fun

• Hosted by dance sensation Jayden Rodrigues from Dance Party

With performances, laughs and plenty of entertainment, Northern Beaches' Picnic in the Park is the perfect excuse to soak up spring-time smiles and make magical memories together.
