Music in The Sky - Lullabies

Music in The Sky presents Lullabies, a daytime performance featuring jazz and classical ARIA-nominated pianist Nat Bartsch.

With a series of lullabies influenced by Max Richter's Sleep album and the children's genre-crossing of the Teeny Tiny Stevies, this solo performance blends atmospheric compositions, florid melodic embellishments and ambient electronics.

A safe space for expectant mums and young families with young infants and children, this inclusive music event program provides a soundtrack for the first years of their babies' lives, beginning in utero, going through delivery, and ending with their evening sleep routine.

Despite being geared towards parents and babies, the soundtrack also appeals to non-parents and people from all backgrounds, including neurodivergent individuals and those facing mental illness, stress or grief.

A Q&A session with Nat will follow, moderated by Dr Tanya Silveria, a Registered Music Therapist and University of Melbourne Subject Coordinator.

A beautiful a grounding experience for the whole family.
