Get ready to stretch your legs and your imagination on the MCA's new monthly family adventure! Winter Walks: City Pathways is a guided outdoor tour for art and culture lovers, inspired by the major winter exhibition Cerith Wyn Evans .... in light of the visible.

MCA Winter Walks: See Sydney in a Whole New Light

Presented by the Museum of Contemporary Art, Winter Walks: City Pathways is an immersive walking tour that invites you to experience Sydney’s cityscape through the lens of internationally renowned artist Cerith Wyn Evans, whose major winter exhibition Cerith Wyn Evans .... in light of the visible is currently on show at the MCA.

Led by artist educator Cameron Stead, this sensory experience takes families on a fascinating journey along Warrane/Sydney Harbour and Circular Quay. You'll be encouraged to listen deeply, draw freely and tune in to the sounds, sights and rhythms of the city, putting yourself in the shoes of the artist and visiting places where he recorded sounds for the exhibition.

Relish the opportunity to get outside, slow down and notice the details of the world buzzing around you. Whether it’s the hum of a ferry, reflections bouncing off glass, or a hidden corner of greenery, this is a beautiful way to reconnect with the city - and your inner artist! All art materials are provided, and all ages are welcome.

Make sure to wear comfy shoes, dress for the weather, and bring your sense of wonder.

Bonus: Your tour ticket includes 15% off entry to major winter exhibition 'Cerith Wyn Evans .... in light of the visible, valid on the day of your walk – perfect for popping into the MCA afterwards to see where the inspiration began.
