Skate City Returns to Marrickville Metro

Skate City has returned at Marrickville Metro – rolling in just in time for the summer school holidays! Designed for kids ages 5 to 12, from first-timers to little shredders ready to refine their skateboarding moves, every workshop session is welcoming and safe. 

Guided by expert skateboarding coaches, kids will learn the basics, build skills, try new tricks, and boost confidence in a supportive environment. Spots are limited, so bookings are highly recommended. Secure your spot for just $10 per child, with all skateboarding gear provided. 

But wait, there's more! Add to the action at Marrickville's Design Lab, where kids can get creative at wearable t-shirt design workshops, hosted by international artist Sonny Day. Customise your tee with patches, paint, and more, and take home a one-of-a-kind design! DIY Design Lab workshops are just $5 per child.

Marrickville Metro's Skate City and DIY Design Lab will run from 16 January to 22 January 2026, starting at 9 am. Don't miss out on this school holiday favourite!
