Marrickville Metro Shopping Centre is always a hive of activity during the school holidays, and this summer will be no exception!

Skate City Workshops at Marrickville Metro

Young skate enthusiasts aged 5 - 12 are invited to join exhilarating, skating workshops happening in January. The Skate City Workshops offer a day full of flips, tricks, and ollies, setting kids on an electrifying skateboarding adventure. Seasoned instructors will be on hand to guide participants through a series of skill-building workshops, ensuring that both beginners and seasoned riders will elevate their skate game.

So, grab your boards and brace yourself for a day of rad moves and unforgettable memories! Whether your child is strapping on a skateboard for the first time or is already a budding skate prodigy, they can join a skate session. Children will be split up based on their skill level on the day of the workshop. Sessions start at 9 am, 10.30 am, 1 pm and 2:30 pm each day and all skateboards, helmets and safety pads will be provided.

Deck It Out

Join artists Sonny Day, Midori and Mila as they guide kids through the magic of making their own custom classic skateboard decks. All materials including the skateboard deck are provided! Creative kids will be led through a guided design process, leaving the class with their own amazing masterpiece to take home.

$10 per session. Bookings are essential.

All Skate City Workshops and Deck It Out sessions go for 1 hour and are best suited for children aged 5 - 12 years old. Parental supervision is required at all times.
