Designed to showcase and celebrate the vibrant community of Marrickville Metro, Festiville will take over the centre throughout June, offering an immersive experience filled with colour, flavour and fun. The event will be held across the centre, bringing the community together with family-friendly activities and delicious food options.

Festiville Opening Weekend

Don't miss the Winter Festiville Launch Weekend on 7 - 9 June from 3 pm - 8 pm daily with lots of FREE activities to keep the whole family entertained over the long weekend including:

• Interactive light installation
• Neon putt putt Fairy floss cart
• Glow in the dark face painting
• Roaming LED dancers
• Roller skate performers
• Glow DJ booth and tunes

Interactive Light Installation

Visit Smidmore Street from 7 - 30 June and check out the colourful interconnected archways inspired by the traditional accordion instrument. For the very first time, Marrickville Metro will host the enchanting Accordion, an interactive light installation by Amigo & Amigo. Experience waves of music, colour and light made from illuminated steel rings and bright fabrics adapting to different formations that you can walk through. Lights will be on from 6 pm - 10 pm daily throughout June. 

Winter Metro Markets

Foodies and shopaholics, discover an irresistible array of artisanal goods and gourmet foods on 8 June 2024 at The Metro Markets on Smidmore Street. Get ready to explore an exciting collection of products and treats to warm up your winter.

Make the most of exclusive limited-time winter dining offers and savour the delicious dishes available from some of Marrickville Metro's exotic eateries.
