Marian Street Theatre for Young People School Holiday Workshops

Dive into a world of drama queens and kings with the Marian Street Theatre for Young People Holiday Workshops! Students from Kindergarten to Year 12 will be immersed in an engaging theatrical experience while they learn valuable skills and build their confidence on stage. 

Marian Street Theatre courses offer a comprehensive theatre education for budding performers to explore acting skills like characterisation, listening, and reacting. They will learn storytelling techniques such as story arc and story building; delve into stagecraft, collaboration, and ensemble building, and be guided on vocal techniques. They will also be introduced to public speaking, stage physicality, and movement, all while fostering confidence in a fun and safe environment.

Work with amazing, experienced teaching artists, develop new skills, create exciting performances, and enjoy a special end-of-workshop show for family and friends!

Autumn School Holiday Workshops

Join the amazing teaching artists for fantastic MSTYP full-day school holiday workshops.

The four-day Primary Make a Play & Public Speaking Combo for students 6 - 13 years old is the perfect opportunity for young performers to build confidence, find their voice and connect with others. Runs week one and week 2.

For older students, the three-day Teen Musical Theatre Boot Camp is an intensive program designed to challenge, inspire and help teens strengthen their performance and communication skills. Runs 13 -15 April.
