Get ready for a frightfully fun family day out as the super-spooky Halloween at Marrickville Metro transforms into a spook-tacular hub of excitement. From trick-or-treating adventures to bubbling science experiments, there’s plenty to keep your little monsters entertained this October.

From Spooky Science Workshops to Trick-or-Treat trails, Marrickville Metro will have kids howling with delight this Halloween.

Spooky Science Workshops

Halloween gets hands-on with Marrickville Metro’s Spooky Science Workshops, where curious kids can mix, bubble and create their own scientific magic. Think mini volcano eruptions, vanishing writing and all sorts of fizzy fun!

Each day offers something new to discover, and your little gremlins are welcome to experiment more than once in different sessions. 

Bonus Treat! The first 100 families to book a workshop will receive a Kids Eat Free voucher to use at participating restaurants.

Workshops run for 30 minutes with various sessions available.

• Thursday 23 October - Creepy Handprints & Vanishing Writing
• Friday 24 October - Spooky Slime Lab
• Saturday 25 October - Pumpkin Volcano Eruptions
• Sunday 26 October - Floating Ghosts & Dancing Skeletons

Spooktacular Trick-or-Treat

For a Halloween celebration that’s more fun than fright, Marrickville Metro’s Trick-or-Treat Trail is the place to be. Bring along your little witches, goblins and ghouls to follow the spooky trail around the centre, collecting sweet treats and burning off some energy along the way. Keep an eye out for pumpkins and cauldrons – they’ll guide you to your next candy stop!

This year, families can join in on three separate trick-or-treat hunts on Saturday 25 and Sunday 26 October and on Friday 31 October.

When:    Workshops - Thursday 23 & Friday 24 October | 10 am to 12 pm
                                  - Saturday 25 & Sunday 26 October | 10 am to 2 pm
               Trick-or-Treat - Saturday 25 & Sunday 26 October | 10 am to 2 pm
                                      - Friday 31 October | 3 pm to 7 pm
Cost:      Workshops and Trick-or-Treat $5 per child. Registration required.
