Welcome to Mum Club. The rules are simple. Every mum is welcomed with kindness. Drink cow's milk, and you're out.

When young Yuin mum Sadie relocates to Sydney with her screaming baby, she's desperate to find community in a new city. Instead, she lands in the wonderfully chaotic world of the Inner West Mum Club, where every parent has a strong opinion, and no two approaches to motherhood are the same.

There's Corporate Mum, who jumped back on Zoom almost before the birth was over. Antivax Mum, who burns sage at sleepovers. Well-Meaning Mum, who acknowledges Country every time she crosses into a new postcode. As Sadie tries to navigate connection, belonging and the impossible pressure to be the "perfect" parent, she begins to question just how much of herself she's willing to sacrifice to fit in.

Written by the brilliantly funny Jorjia Gillis, Mum Club delivers laugh-out-loud moments alongside heartfelt reflections on surviving the early years of parenting and embracing the beautifully imperfect reality of family life and friendship. Beneath the razor-sharp comedy is a moving celebration of the strength, humour and resilience of Blak motherhood.
