Get Possessed By a Spooky Date Night: The Exorcist in a Haunted Gaol Screening

Get ready for a spook-tacular movie experience as The Exorcist comes to life in a whole new way at the Parramatta Gaol.

 This historic site already hosts ghost tours and is believed to be haunted by former inmates. Haus of Horror is hosting the immersive event dubbed "The Exorcist in a Haunted Gaol," featuring a special screening of the scariest movie ever made under the stars at the gaol's grassy field on Sunday, March 11.

The location adds to the thrill, with the gaol, constructed from sandstone and slate, built in the 19th century, and operated until 2011. You'll have the chance to feel the eerie atmosphere and immerse yourself in a unique cinematic experience while the film's unnerving wonders unfold before your eyes.

And that's not all! You'll be treated to a bar serving beer and wine, vegan and non-vegan bites, a live DJ spinning tunes while the sun sets, and an interactive photo booth set up like a scene from the film. You can also bring your own picnic to enjoy while you get spooked.

General admission tickets are available for $39, and you can also book a large bean bag for $59.
