A Family Fun Festivals Series Taking Over Sydney

Get ready for family fun in the City of Sydney area with Sydney Streets! This festival series is the perfect opportunity for families to come together, support local businesses and enjoy some quality time out in the community.

Six local high streets will transform into traffic-free zones for one-day festivals, packed with live music, roving performers, and alfresco dining. Parents can enjoy the festival vibes while kids have fun with children's entertainers and activities.

Local retailers will also be offering special deals, pop-up shops, and live performances. It's a great way to discover new businesses, try out new foods, and find unique products.

Here's a list of the upcoming events for Sydney Streets

• Darlinghurst Road and Macleay Street, Potts Point – Sunday, 19 February, 11 am to 9 pm. Enjoy Pride-themed cocktails, DJs and kids' activities and games.
• Glebe Point Road, Glebe – Sunday, 5 March, 11 am to 9 pm. Dance to the music from a live DJ, try some delicious food and join in the fun with children's activities.
• Redfern Street, Redfern – Saturday 11 March, 11 am to 10 pm. Find everything from local retailers, pop-up bars, live bands, DJs and a vinyl record fair. Painting classes run by Sydney Collective will also be available.
• Stanley Street, Darlinghurst – Saturday, 18 March, 11 am to 10 pm Enjoy alfresco wining and dining options, live music performances, and try out signature foods and beverages from local businesses.
• Harris Street, Pyrmont – Saturday, 25 March, 11 am to 10 pm. Join in a variety of workshops, including hip-hop dance classes, and enjoy the roving performers and live musicians.
• Crown Street, Surry Hills – Saturday, 1 April, 11 am to 10 pm. Get ready for a fun-filled day for the whole family with pop-up stalls, live DJs, and children's activities.

Sydney Streets is part of the City of Sydney's community recovery plan, aimed at supporting the economic and social revival of Sydney after the pandemic.
